Terms of Service

The agreement between you and our shop covering bookings, payments, and website use.

Effective date: January 1, 2026

This document uses placeholder language for Saint City Barber Co. (1330 W Sunset Blvd STE H1, St. George, UT). It is provided for convenience and is not legal advice. Please have it reviewed by a licensed attorney before relying on it.

These Terms of Service are the rulebook for everything that happens between you and Saint City Barber Co. — booking an appointment, paying a deposit, redeeming a gift card, signing up for a membership, or simply browsing this website. They are written in plain English first, with the legal sub-sections below.

By using the site or booking a service, you’re agreeing to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cancellation Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t book — and reach out to the shop so we can answer questions before you commit.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By booking an appointment, purchasing a service or product, or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Booking appointments

  • You must provide accurate contact information when booking.
  • We may require a deposit at the time of booking — see our Cancellation Policy.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service for safety, behavior, or capacity reasons.
  • Walk-in availability is offered when chairs are open and is not guaranteed.

3. Cancellations and no-shows

Cancellations, reschedules, and no-shows are governed by our Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Late cancellations and no-shows may incur a fee or forfeit a deposit.

4. Payments and deposits

  • Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice.
  • Deposits are applied to the final service total or forfeited per the cancellation policy.
  • Tips are appreciated and never required.
  • Refunds for services already performed are at our discretion and granted in good faith.

5. Gift cards

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash, except where required by law.
  • Gift cards do not expire unless local law permits expiration.
  • Treat gift cards like cash — lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced.

6. Memberships and packages

  • Memberships renew automatically on the billing interval shown at sign-up.
  • You can cancel future renewals at any time. Already-paid periods are non-refundable.
  • Unused visits within a billing period do not roll over unless your specific plan says they do.
  • Member perks (e.g., retail discounts, priority booking) apply only while your membership is active.

7. Promo codes and discounts

Promo codes are limited to one per visit unless stated otherwise, may not be combined with other offers, are non-transferable, and have no cash value. We may revoke a promo code at any time for misuse.

8. Use of the website

  • You agree not to interfere with the site, its security, or other users.
  • All content (logos, photos, copy) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws.
  • Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

9. Disclaimers

The website and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Results from haircuts, beard work, and shaves vary by individual. We do not provide medical, dermatological, or cosmetological advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the website or services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service or product giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington County, Utah.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Right to refuse service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose behavior threatens the safety or comfort of our team or other guests. Examples include intoxication, harassment, discriminatory language, or repeated no-shows. In nearly every case, we’ll talk with you first and try to resolve it. Refusal of service is a last resort, not a first response.

14. Photos and content

We sometimes take before/after photos for our portfolio, social channels, or website. We will always ask before photographing you and you can decline at any time without affecting your service. If a photo of you is published and you’d like it removed, email hello@saintcitybarber.com and we’ll take it down promptly.

15. Contact

Questions about these Terms? Email hello@saintcitybarber.com or call (435) 366-2661. We do our best to reply within one business day.

A note on tone

We’ve tried to keep this document short and human. We’re a barbershop, not a bank — most of these rules exist because something has come up at least once and we want everyone to know how we’ll handle it next time. If you read something here that feels unfair or unclear, tell us. We’d rather rewrite a paragraph than lose a regular over a misunderstanding.
