Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Plain-English rules so there are no surprises. Last updated by the shop owner.

Our cancellation policy exists for one reason: when a chair sits empty, the barber working that chair loses the appointment. We hold time for you, decline other guests while you’re on the books, and prep the station for the service you booked. A small amount of advance notice gives us a real chance to fill the slot. A lot of advance notice means the policy never matters at all — which is the outcome we want.

The rules below are the same whether you booked online, called the shop, or walked in and rebooked at the chair. They apply to every service, every barber, and every membership tier. If something genuinely unexpected happens — illness, family emergency, a wreck on I-15 — call us. We’re people, and we treat real emergencies as real emergencies.

How to cancel or reschedule

  • Use the reschedule link in your confirmation or reminder email.
  • Reply to your SMS reminder with “CANCEL.”
  • Call us at (435) 366-2661 during shop hours.

Deposits

Deposits may be required for longer services, group bookings, or after a missed appointment.

A deposit is forfeited if you do not show up, cancel after the 24-hour window, or repeatedly reschedule a single booking.

No-show fees

We hold the chair for you. When the chair sits empty, our barber loses that appointment slot. If you don’t arrive within the first 10 minutes of your appointment without contacting us, we may mark you as a no-show and charge the $0.00 fee to the card on file or require pre-payment for future bookings.

Late arrivals

Please arrive a few minutes early. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may need to shorten your service or reschedule so the next guest isn’t affected.

Emergencies and exceptions

We’re people, too — illness and emergencies happen. Reach out and we’ll do our best to waive the fee in genuine cases. Repeated no-shows may require pre-payment for future bookings.

Group bookings and weddings

Group bookings (wedding parties, multi-chair reservations, corporate events) require larger blocks of time and are harder to refill on short notice. For groups of three or more, we typically require at least 48 hours of notice for any changes. Specific terms are confirmed in writing when the group booking is made.

Why we have this policy

A typical haircut at our shop runs 45 minutes; longer services run an hour or more. When a no-show happens, we don’t just lose that appointment — we lose the chance to take a walk-in who could have used the chair, the prep time we already spent, and the income the barber was counting on for that block. Holding the line on this policy is how we keep prices stable and our team paid fairly.

The flip side: the more reliable our schedule is, the more flexibility we can offer the guests who need it. Regulars who consistently show up get last-minute rebooks, priority on the waitlist, and grace periods we can’t extend to everyone.

How fees are charged

When a fee applies, we charge the card on file for the amount listed above and email a receipt. If there’s no card on file, we’ll send a payment link and ask that it’s settled before the next appointment is booked. Fees can be disputed by replying to the receipt email — we review every dispute personally.

The bottom line

We don’t want to charge anyone a fee. The whole point of the policy is to make rescheduling easy enough that fees almost never come up. Use the link in your email, reply CANCEL to your reminder text, or call the shop. 24 hours is the only number you really need to remember.
